The Michael Payne-coached side, which sits sixth on the 11-team table, will play the fourth-placed Lions on the road on Saturday night.
The Tornadoes will then suit up against the fifth-ranked Supercats at home on Sunday.
Dean Brebner and Scott Judd will return to the roster in place of the unavailable Justin Wallace and Ben O’Sullivan.
“It will give us a good indication of where we’re at in the league at the moment,” Payne said.
Payne said Terang was excited to challenge itself against two teams with bigger populations to choose from.
“We’ve played patchy basketball and haven’t been able to string together four quarters yet,” he said. “It will be very important this weekend.
The last game against Geelong we didn’t put in four quarters and it showed. We had a solid half and it changed it up a bit.”
The Tornadoes’ women’s side plays Horsham (away) and Geelong (home).
