It won’t be the first time that a competition of this size will descend on Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (SSAA) Warrnambool branch’s range.
Laang previously held then ationals in 2006 and 2012 as well as the 2009 world championships.
SCA national president Tony Trainor said the governing body was expecting over 300 shooters to make the trip to the Moyne Shire town for the annual competition, which will run from November 16 to 18.
“With a little over five weeks until the competition gets underway, we have received almost 330 registrations to date, so we are well on the way to another successful competition this year,” he said.
Shooters will face a variety of ranges from open sky to bushland to open fields.
