The restrictions currently prohibit dogs from certain beaches between 9am and 6pm, December 1 to Easter Monday each year.
A council report recommends the Local Law be amended to introduce controls from Christmas Eve each year rather than the start of December
Also on the agenda for councillors to consider is a planning permit for a property on the Princes Highway, at Allansford, which is seeking approcal for the use and development of the land for a home.
The council officer’s recommendation is to refuse to grant a permit under the provisions of the Moyne Planning Scheme.
A property on Dunlop Street, in Mortlake is seeking planning approval for a building and works to construct a canopy, diesel fuel tank and construction and display of an internally illuminated sign.
The recommendation is to grant the permit.
The meeting is on at the Port Fairy Community Services Centre from 4pm.
