“We worked really hard over the pre-season,” Fisher said.
“Things like batting out our overs and bowling good lines, just basic stuff.”
Camperdown received a reward for its hard work in round one with a 45-run win over Bookaar. Jye McLaughlin top scored with 47, winning praise from his coach.
“Jye is one of our better batsmen and he had a big pre-season,” Fisher said.
“Hopefully now he can continue to cash in on that hard work.”
Camperdown faces a big test on Saturday when it takes on last season’s runners-up Heytesbury Rebels.
The Rebels had a four-wicket win over Noorat to start the season.
In other round two matches, Bookaar will play Pomborneit, Terang is up against Cobden and Mortlake will front up to Noorat.
