The Rotary Club of Port Fairy’s Open Gardens Day gives gardening enthusiasts the chance to enjoy the colour and serenity of picturesque gardens at 41 Williams St, Port Fairy; 44 Williams Street, Port Fairy; 156 Survey Lane, Killarney; and 120 Gormans Road, Killarney.
Rotary club member Hester Woodrup said the four gardens are all interesting and different.
“We have two beautiful gardens at Williams Street and then at Survey Lane we have stunning natives and at Gormans Road, a young garden full of vegies, herbs, fruit trees and an amazing array of poultry including turkeys, geese and chickens,” she said.
The gardens are open from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, October 28, and admission is $20 which also covers the cost of refreshments being served at 156 Survey Lane, Killarney.
All proceeds will go to help fund the refurbishment at Moyne Health. Tickets and maps are available at the gardens.
