The Bulls charged through their opponents to record a 190-run win to start the 2018-19 South West cricket season.
Captain-coach Grant Place said there was a lot to like already.
"There is a lot of excitement around the club," he said.
"We had a good crowd there watching us today and in past seasons we probably haven't had that.
“So it is just good to have that excitement and good feel around the club.
"Hopefully we can keep performing, but it was a great way to start the season."
There were two individual performances that also earned special praise from the Bulls’ leader.
Clinton Place starred for Pomborneit taking a staggering 7-9 while also producing a solid innings of 26 with the bat.
"He surprised me with the bat early and he bowled extremely well, I think he took the first seven wickets of the innings," the Bulls’ captain-coach said.
"His line and length was very hard for them to score."
Place was also super impressed with the debut of recruit Tharaka Sendanayake who blasted a top score of 80.
"The way he was hitting the ball, Pomborneit ground is very lush and green, and he was still hitting the ball as hard as you'll see all the way along the ground to the fence," he said.
"He is probably unlucky not to get a hundred, he batted extremely well so hopefully it’s a strong year ahead for him."
Pomborneit made 231 from its 50 overs before taking just 22 overs to clean Terang up for a dismal 41 runs.
