Lougheed, who competed in the under 17 girls, helped the team win a bronze medal. While Gibbs and the under 15 boys finished fourth.
Coach Craig Gibbs said he was not surprised by the pair’s achievements.
"I think it is their commitment as they are both very committed players, they put the hours in on the court and it shows in the way they play," he said.
"Typical week would be three or four hours training on the court and then they will do up to two hours training then some gym after that.
"It is great to see them come through the junior ranks and then hit the national level.”
Lougheed said she had mixed feelings about the end result of her third appearance at the titles.
"I think it was a bit disappointing that we didn't make the gold medal match," she said. "But we were still real happy with the bronze."
The duo will now prepare for upcoming tournaments at Bendigo, Horsham and Warrnambool.
