The pair continued their strong form scoring 37 (Wareham) and 55 (Jenkinson) in Country’s 26-run loss to NSW Metro
Wareham, who started the tournament slowly with two ducks and a five, roared into life to score 50 in Vic Country’s 10-run victory over South Australia on Sunday.
While Jenkinson contributed a solid 30 in the victory, bringing his runs total for the first 228 before Wednesday’s efforts.
The pair couldn’t get off the mark against Vic Metro on Tuesday as Jenkinson was caught behind for 3 and Wareham departed for 9 in Vic Country’s failed run chase of a massive 341 set by Metro.
Country sit on three wins and three losses ahead of Thursday’s final day of play in Brisbane
