Club secretary Michael Stokes said the weekend’s classic showed why Warrnambool was hosting the state titles in November.
The two-day event attracted approximately 350 competitors from across the country.
"We are considered one of the best tracks in Victoria if not Australia, and it is right here in Warrnambool," he said
"Everybody loves coming down to Warrnambool with the track that we have got. It doesn't just cater for those pro riders it caters for all abilities.
"From all reports everyone really enjoyed the event.
"And I know the commentators were quoted in saying it was the best regional event they had been to in a long time. So Warrnambool has set the bar high."
Max Cairns of the Park Orchards BMX Club claimed victory in the super class division after shaving three seconds of his heat time in the final.
