The Saints battled hard all match against the Seagulls before holding on to win by just one goal, 31-30, to take the division two premiership flag back to Koroit.
Co-coach Kylie Grayland revealed after the game how the loss to Port Fairy in the first week of the finals made the Saints even hungrier for premiership glory.
"Look it has been a hard slog, we just had to back each other 100 per cent," she said.
"We beat them through the season, but come into the first final to get into the grand final they actually beat us by two (goals). So we then didn't have the week off and I think that paid off.
“And then we had fire in our belly and we were like 'no, we deserve this'."
Grayland said the flag was a way to give back to the club, a club every played loved to represent.
"We can't thank the Koroit football club enough to back us for what we have achieve today,” she said.
The club back us 100 per cent no matter what we do so they are just awesome.
"It is just amazing to wear the colours and we are proud people with our colours on."
