Art: The Merri View Gallery is hosting an exhibition by Warrnambool artist Jenny Arms.
The works include a selection of black and white pictures and a variety of birds, animals and natural subject matter on display from midday to 4pm Saturdays and Sundays for eight weeks.
History: The Icons of Port Fairy exhibition begins at the Port Fairy History Centre.
The exhibition runs for two weeks and will focus on some of the town’s best known historical figures. These include star Essendon footballer John Coleman.

Tower Hill: Warrnambool Field Naturalists Club Rob Wallis will talk on Tower Hill and the Club’s role in its restoration at the CWA Hall on Kepler Street from 7.30pm.
Birds: ‘Across the Waves’ will be held at Warrnambool’s F Project Gallery from 26 September to 21 October.
The exhibition is the union of ten South West printmakers, Des Bunyon, Delia Crabbe, Ben Fennessy, Sue Ferrari, Jean Gleeson, Jodie Honan, Marion Manifold, Andrea Radley, Maree Stewart and Heather Wood, joining forces using the medium of print making to highlight the plight of migratory waterbirds.
