The Koroit duo, along with fellow first-timer Josh Chatfield, will feature alongside teammates, such as seven-time premiership winner Ben Goodall, well accquainted with the big stage.
Pulling, 20, hopes to use his speed on a wing and White, 18, is expected to play as a lock-down small defender as the Saints strive to create Hampden league history and win five flags in a row.
Both players are embracing the moment.
Pulling missed out on a spot in the Saints’ 2017 grand final in his first season at the club after crossing from Warrnambool and District league outfit Merrivale.
He put in the hard yards at training to establish his spot in the Chris McLaren-coached side this year.
“I am pretty excited. It’s a good feeling, obviously all the old lads have played in plenty of grand finals now so it will good,” Pulling said.
“It will be a good experience but I am not nervous at all.”
White, who made his senior debut this season, wants to join older brother Jesse as a Koroit premiership player.
Jesse was part of the Saints’ 2014 flag – the one which kick-started their dynasty.
“It would be pretty special. He’ll be down this weekend and watching and I’d love to join him also,” White said.
“I have always wanted to play in a senior flag. It’s always been an aspiration so hopefully this weekend (I can).
“This time last year I would never have thought I could be playing in a grand final but it’s pretty exciting.
“I am pretty excited and a bit nervous but once the game’s started the nerves should head away.”
White is enjoying himself in the tight Koroit back six.
But it’s a midfielder who has had the biggest influence on his fledgling career so far.
“Liam Hoy took me on early, took me under his wing in the pre-season and just helped me with the transition from 18s footy to seniors footy and made it a bit easier,” he said.
“I’ve been fairly satisfied with the way things are going. The boys down back help me most weeks. Each week you get a bit more confidence from playing a bit more time but I am just happy to be in the team.”
