O’Keeffe, who played her 150th game this season for the Blues, won the award from goal shooter Amy Wormald.
O’Keeffe said she was thrilled with her victory.
“Amy (Wormald) had a really good season so I was probably lucky she missed a few games through her basketball commitments,” O’Keeffe said.
“It was a bit disappointing missing the finals, we were on track to make it but we lost too many games late in the season.”
The Blues finished in seventh place on the ladder.
O’Keeffe has seen grand final combatants Koroit and Cobden from close range and expects a tight grand final.
“I think it will be a close game,” she said.
“Cobden will have to find a way to stop Nell Mitchell. It would be nice to see Cobden win but I think Koroit might be just a bit too strong.”
Warrnambool’s senior football best-and-fairest count was won by ruckman Daniel Weymouth.
Runner-up was rover Jye Turland.
