The talented goalie, who will return to the club for the 2019 season, has proved in the past that she knows what it takes to experience premiership glory.
Davis played a vital role in the Lions’ inaugural premiership in 2011 as well as three-consecutive flags with Navarre in the Maryborough Castlemaine District Football League.
“Winning that flag was one of my most special sporting memories to date,” she said.
“To win a club’s first flag and have so much success in all the other grades at the same time was an amazing feeling.
“Success starts with a good culture and Rovers is a club renowned for its inclusiveness and culture, which is one of the main reasons I’m heading back.
“If we can get the team to really bond, make progress on the work that’s been done in the past few years and have fun along the way then success will follow.”
The 28-year-old said she looked forward to offer plenty of on-court leadership to what was a young list.
"I’m looking forward to working with the younger players in whatever capacity I can," she said.
"And you have got to find a balance when it comes to developing juniors.
"Youth is an important part of any successful club, but you also need the mix of experience to help develop those players."
South Rovers have also confirmed playing coach Jess Rohan will again lead the Lions next season.
Davis is expected to take on either an official or unofficial coaching role to assist Rohan.
“I am hoping my experience can relieve some of the pressure on her, particularly playing wise, I reckon we’ll see the best out of her yet,” she said.
“Jess is an incredibly talented netballer, as demonstrated in her individual success last season.
“Coaching wise she has done an amazing job with a particularly young and new side to senior netball.”
