The club had Jessika Tobin-Salzman claim the division two best and fairest with Georgia White taking out the award in division three.
Tobin-Salzman, who polled 36 votes to finish seven clear of Koroit’s Kylie Garland, was not in attendance but was deemed a deserving winner by her coach and opponents from rival clubs.
White, who was there to accept her division three award, racked up 32 votes to steal the best and fairest by two votes from Gabby Redpath of the Hamilton Kangaroos.
The young Rooster labelled her achievement as “unexpected”, and gave a fair explanation to why.
“I didn’t play div three for the whole year, so that is why it wasn’t kind of expected,” she said.
“I was pretty happy with it (my season), just sort of average. I sort of just go about it just as it comes.
“But we just had a really good group of girls which was really fun.”
Port Fairy’s Stacey Dwyer was rewarded for a consistent season to poll 25 votes and finish third behind Redpath.
