THE Country Women’s Association looked back on 90 years of excellence at a special birthday party in Terang on Saturday.
Organised by the South Western Group, the theme of the event was ‘everything old is new again’. Group president Pam Andrew said it was a wonderful day, with Victorian state president Lynne Harris OAM an honoured guest.
More than 45 people attended, dressing up in outfits from eras gone by. A fashion parade also showcased looks which would have been worn by ladies in the past. A 1929 Oakland car was a highlight.
“Everyone who got dressed up told us about their outfits which some would have at least been 70 or 80 years old,” Mrs Andrew said.
