Hampden league life member Stacey O’Sullivan will lead the Saints, who are gunning for a 10^th open premiership this season, next year.

O’Sullivan will replace co-coaches Carly Pulling and Jess O’Connor who are one win away from delivering a 10^th flag to Victoria Park.

She joins a long list of Koroit netballers to take on the top role, including Jacqui Bowman, Kasey Owen and Emily Batt.

O’Sullivan said she coached the Saints “about 14 years ago”.

“I’ve been doing the juniors for a while and was looking for a change,” she said.

“A lot of the juniors have started coming through the seniors which I love – I will still get to coach juniors but at a senior level.”

O’Sullivan, 39, has spent the past three years umpiring since retiring. 

“I am a rounded coach – I have played the game, umpired and coached as well,” O’Sullivan said.

O’Sullivan and husband Nick are entrenched at Koroit.

Their four children – Jack, 18, Paddy, 15, Finn, 12, and Shelby, 10 – all play football and netball for the Saints.

Jack made his senior football debut in round 18.

Andrew Foster will coach the Saints’ reserves next year with Ben and Joe Woonton in charge of the under 18.5s.
