Warrnambool police Sergeant Jo Wastell said a vehicle was intercepted in Warrnambool overnight and a passenger, a 36-year-old Warrnambool man, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
She said the man will appear in Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Friday.
He has been charged with possessing and trafficking a drug of dependence.
The man was on bail and failed to appear in court on August 27.
In an unrelated incident, a 40-year-old Portland woman was arrested in Hamilton about 1am.
Police said the woman was a passenger in a vehicle that was intercepted on Lonsdale Street.
A search revealed the woman was in possession of $500 cash, which was believed to be stolen.
The woman, who is currently on bail for other matters, was charged with breaching bail and handling stolen goods.
She will appear in Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Friday.
