Year fives and sixes from Nullawarre and District, Cudgee and Panmure primary schools are in the 1300-strong choir in the performance which showcases 3000 Victorian students.
Music specialist for the three schools Merran Moir said it was a “pretty amazing experience” for them. “It’s a very unique opportunity and a once in a lifetime thing for these children,” she said.
Toby Dalton, 12, said they had been practicing since the beginning of the year and he was enjoying the rehearsals. Zoe Bryce, 12, said they had been singing lots of songs and they couldn’t wait to perform at Hisense Arena.
