At 7.15am on Wednesday the Powercor website said blackouts were affecting customers in Milltown, Heywood and Breakaway Creek near the Myamn-MacArthur Road, MacArthur.
The cause of the outages is under investigation and power is expected to be restored by 11.30am.
Powercor says to keep clear of any fallen power lines as these should always be treated as live and dangerous.
