Corangamite mayor Jo Beard said the low-key events would allow communities to come together and relax.
“Everyone has been flat out over the past six months and it’s really important to look after ourselves and not wear ourselves out,” she said.
Flynn Gurry will provide the music at the Cobden and Timboon events and Ian “Bidge” Boyd will perform at Terang and Camperdown.
All the barbecues will be held from 11am-2pm in:
- Cobden, Apex Park, Sunday, September 16 (RSVP September 13).
- Terang RSL Hall, Monday, September 17 (RSVP September 13).
- Timboon, Bailey Street playground, Saturday, September 22 (RSVP September 20).
- Camperdown Golf Club, Sunday, September 23 (RSVP September 20).
