TATYOON if hoping momentum gained over the first fortnight of the Mininera and District Football League finals can continue into its preliminary final clash against Penshurst.
The penultimate game of the season will be played at Willaura.
After finishing fifth at the end of the home-and-away season, Tatyoon had a thrilling four-point win over Lismore-Derrinallum in the elimination final. It was a more convincing result in the first semi-final last Sunday, with Tatyoon defeating Glenthompson-Dunkeld.
Penshurst defeated Glenthompson-Dunkeld in the qualifying final before losing the second semi-final to Wickliffe-Lake Bolac.
In A grade netball, Woorndoo-Mortlake and Moyston-Willaura will compete for a place in the grand final. The Mininera Netball Association held its best-and-fairest count on Thursday with Woorndoo-Mortlake’s Jess Cameron winning the A grade award.
