Despite a tight battle with Merrivale, the Warriors took home the trophy 33-25.
The reigning premiers were determined to bring the trophy back to Davidson Oval and they got some added bling with Rachel Vickery best on court.
Speaking courtside before her second of two grand final games to be played on Saturday, Vickery said the accolade would be shared with teammates.
“I’m very surprised about this,” she said. “The team played amazing.
“This is such a positive group of girls, we all work well together.”
Old Collegians is also the home of the WDFNL 15 and under overall fairest and best winner Chloe McKenzie.
