The young mum is working part-time in events and tourism as well as lending a hand in PR and marketing for the Winter Weekends festival.
Ms Smith says she “travelled a lot and worked on very interesting, sometimes eye-opening projects” during her 13 years working in a public relations role in London and is now enjoying settling into Port Fairy life once again.
What fictional place would you most like to go? I wouldn't mind visiting Gotham City, but just for a quick look around and only if I was invisible. It's seems a bit too bleak and dangerous to hang around for too long.
If you had unlimited funds to build a house that you would live in for the rest of your life, what would it be like? It would have lots of natural light and it would be cool to have movable walls so that the configuration of the house could be changed whenever you like.
Where is the most interesting place you’ve been? I went on a road trip around the southern states of the US; Virginia, North and South Carolina. It was totally eye-opening in terms of what their beliefs are on things like gun control, sexual orientation, what they think of other countries and day-to-day life in the deep south.
What songs have you completely memorised? Baby got Back by Sir Mixalot.
What game or movie universe would you most like to live in? Maybe the Hanna-Barbera universe - ‘The Jetsons’, ‘The Flintstones’, ‘Scooby Doo’, ‘Secret Squirrel’ - they all had a lot going on and it all ended pretty well in each episode from what I can remember.
What do you wish you knew more about? Politics
What would be your first question after waking up from being cryogenically frozen for 100 years? It would probably be “why was I chosen to be cryogenically frozen? Did I achieve enough to attempt to try and preserve enough of my brain function to permit future revival?”
What kind of art do you enjoy most? Modern art, Street art, bold colour. I have a piece on hold at Wisharts Gallery that I hope to collect very soon. One of my favourite pieces at home is called Celebrate by Ben Eine.
What makes your day better? Coffee
Who’s your go to band or artist? David Bowie
