Allansford’s 2018 was a mixed bag of performances on both the netball court and football field.
The Cats, under first-year coaches Ben Price (football) and Scott Redmond (A grade netball), showed promising signs of a bright 2019 with plenty of youth shining on the league’s top level,
The likes of Bradley Edge and Sam Alberts in the football and Lena Wright and Merinda Ugle-Hagan on the netball court were some emerging stars showing they belong at the top level.
The footballers started the year strongly before fading to finish in seventh with six wins and 10 defeats.
The netballers started slowly before storming home to finish strongly and just miss out on a finals spot also in seventh with six wins, nine losses and a draw.
