Cold start to a warm day in the south-west

At 7am it was 1.6 degrees in Warrnambool but it felt like -2.6.
Temperatures fell to a low 0.9 degrees at 4am but are expected to reach a top of 18 degrees in Warrnambool and Heywood; 17 in Casterton, Mortlake, Port Fairy and Portland; and 16 degrees in Colac and Hamilton.
The warm weather will continue on Wednesday with a top of 19 degrees, followed by a chance of showers in the late afternoon and evening.
