Crook raids law office, cash stolen

Detective Sergeant Jason von Tunk, of the Portland police crime investigation unit, said the office in Henty Street was burgled between Friday night and Monday morning, when the break-in was discovered.
He said the offender entered through a rear door, rummaged through draws and files and then stole $15 in cash.
"It does not appear that anything else was removed from the offices," Detective Sergeant von Tunk said.
"We are appealing for anyone with information about the break-in to contact the Portland CIU or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000," he said.
