Hamilton police continue to search for the driver of a damaged vehicle near Penshurst.
A white Subaru station wagon was discovered about 4am on Sunday morning on the Penshurst-Warrnambool Road.
Police said the vehicle collided with a tree.
The driver wasn't at the scene when it was located by police.
Anyone with information should call Hamilton police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Police are seeking the driver of an extensively damaged car after a single vehicle collision on the outskirts of Penshurst.
Hamilton police Sergeant Rex Habel said the white Subaru station wagon was discovered about 4am on Sunday morning on the Penshurst-Warrnambool Road.
"The car was significantly damaged, but the driver wasn't at the scene when it was located by police," he said.
He said the car was a write-off.
It has South Australian number plates - UUK 285.
Sergeant Habel asked for anyone who saw the car driving in the area at the time to contact Hamilton police or Crime Stoppers.
