A 29-year-old man has been arrested after police found containers of drugs and a knife in a vehicle intercepted in Hamilton overnight.

Warrnambool police Sergeant Tom Morris said police intercepted a vehicle in Thomas Court in Hamilton about 9.50pm.
A search of the car located a back pack containing containers of amphetamine, ecstasy and Viagra, as well as a set of digital scales and a hunting knife.
A 29-year-old man from Rippon Road in Hamilton was arrested and charged with possessing and trafficking drugs, dealing with proceeds of crime, possessing a controlled weapon and committing offences on bail.
He will appear in Warrnambool Magistrates Court today.
In an unrelated incident, a 35-year-old Camperdown man was arrested after a domestic-related assault at his Dawson Street property about 11am on Thursday.
The man was arrested and charged with assault related offences and committing indictable offences on bail.
He will appear in Warrnambool Magistrates Court today.
