The club confirmed on its Facebook page on Thursday night that it was successful in its appeal to have his suspension overturned.
Lovett was suspended for one match after being found guilty by an independent tribunal on Monday night of unbecoming conduct in that he attempted to strike an opponent.
The charge was related to an off-the-ball incident during Heathmere’s round 13 match against Branxholme-Wallacedale on July 14.
The club confirmed on Tuesday afternoon that it had lodged its appeal which required a cost of $5500.
Lovett, who crossed over from Heywood this season, is expected to be an influential player for Heathmere which is aiming for its first premiership since defeating Tyrendarra in 2002.
