It was an up and down year for East Warrnambool as form spiked and dipped throughout the season.
The Bombers’ footballers finished in 10th position, with three wins and 13 defeats. Their most notable victory came in a two-point away victory over Dennington.
In an even contest Danny Chatfield’s men were able to crawl back into the contest in the fourth quarter and steal victory away from the Dogs.
For the netballers it was a season of few victories with the A grade side failing to secure a victory and finished in last place.
But what would be pleasing for the Bombers faithful is the continued improvement of it’s young talent, who could drive the club’s next drive at breaking a nine-year drought of A grade success.
