While it was not a season of many highs for Panmure’s senior football and netball sides – it was a season of vast improvements for the Bulldogs.
Tim Condon’s senior football side finished last with one win and 15 losses. But it was the final few rounds that would give the first-year coach something to think about and use as fuel for the fire that will drive their 2019 season.
The Bulldog’s highlight of the year was the 113 to 48 victory over East Warrnambool in round 16, which showed when his side could pull it together and work as one it could match it with anyone.
For Steph Jamieson’s netballers, who finished 10th with two wins and 14 losses, it was also about learning but more so about the future stars of the club as she took a positive step forward with the younger brigade in her A grade side.
