Ported claimed the A reserves best and fairest on 21 votes, just one vote ahead of teammate and coach Carter.
“I am very happy with how the team has gone overall and I am just lucky that at the end of the day I was able to just push out Kylie,” Porter said.
“I reckon she put me in goal attack a couple of times so she could out poll me in those games.”
It was a different story in B grade with Allansford’s Kelly Lilley winning the best and fairest by nine votes ahead of Jessica Quinlivan from Russells Creek.
The defender said she was surprised to take a trophy home.
“I thought I had a good season but I didn’t think I would be up there with say Jess Quinlivian who came second, i thought she was amazing,” she said.
“I think Jess and her teammate actually stole votes from each other, so thanks girls.”
