Staff from Parks Victoria and the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) will be on hand to answer questions about the managment plan.
The first session will be held at Port Fairy Community Services Centre on Tuesday with the second at the Lighthouse Theatre in Warrnambool on Wednesday.
Both sessions are set down to begin at 6pm.
Mr Campbell, who will attend the sessions, was sceptical of their value.
“The plan looks to be done and dusted so this does appear to be lip service,” he said.
“Given that, I think the main event at these sessions will be hearing how the state government justifies the decisions that have been made.
“I would always encourage people to take the opportunity to quiz high level government when the opportunity arises.”
The new management plan was released last month with prominent south-west musician and Killarney man Shane Howard calling on the Greens to take up the fight for the community.
Mr Howard is among those who believe commercial race horse training does not have a place in the coastal reserve. The plan allows for this activity to continue.
DELWP Barwon South West Community and Partnerships Programs Regional Manager, Jason Borg, said the sessions provide the opportunity to query aspects of the management plan and have questions answered.
“Staff from both DELWP and Parks Victoria will be on-hand to explain the plan,” Mr Borg said.
