A disappointed Finn said the three-point overtime loss to Old Collegians would be “a wake-up call” for his side.
“We don’t take anything else out of the game other than it being a good wake-up call,” he said.
“We have an extra chance and we will do our best against whoever wins (between Timboon Demons and South Rovers tomorrow).”
Finn, who will be stepping down as coach at season’s end, praised the efforts of his side’s captain.
“Joey Conheady, was outstanding and led from the front,” he said.
“He won a lot of hard ball, pressured really well and got underneath their (Old Collegians) skin a little bit.
The Power premiership coach said the Warriors were too strong for them in the second half and in overtime.
