The Roos, who have won just three matches for the season, are determined to finish the season strongly.

And coach Mel Starr said her team has showed continued improvement throughout the season.

"It’s really gelled for us as a team in the last four of five weeks," she said.

"Coming into the season with a team that really haven’t played together at all you expect that it will take a while for it to settle.

"And when you only have seven people on the court, those connections are so important and they are never going to be immediate.

“So it’s just good to see them happening now."

The Kangaroos put it to the Eagles when they met back in round nine, losing by just six goals.

Starr said she wanted her team to bring the same intensity on Saturday.

"We had a great game against North last time we played them, so we want to build on that," she said.

"For us it’s about consolidating and finishing the season positively, which we are, and start to look towards next season."
