President Ian Powell spoke of the club’s membership which has grown from 575 last season to 738 members in all categories, with the most dramatic rise in the nippers’ categories with numbers increasing from 346 to 453.
The new education and training centre which is under construction at the clubrooms is at lock-up stage and is due to be completed in time for the 2018-2019 season.
The heavy and wet equipment storage area downstairs has been extended.
Club executives elected for the coming year include president Ian Powell, vice president Neil Dyson, secretary Tanya Dalton, treasurer Bob Beekho, club captain and chief instructor Shaun Murrihy. Board members elected include Helen Finnigan, Paul Buchanan, Oscar Dunens and Ilona Carson.
