The Roosters regain star midfielders Josh Saunders and Liam Youl, along with emerging teenager Ethan Harvey, for their clash against Terang Mortlake on Saturday.
Buck said the absence of hamstrung duo Saunders and Youl had highlighted the fourth-placed Roosters’ depth.
“We’ve hung on well without them. We’ve learned a fair bit without them in the side,” he said.
“It made us have a good look at our depth and we found we’ve got good depth and can utilise that depth.”
Buck is also pleased with the Roosters’ scoring power.
They’ve kicked 56 goals in their past three matches.
“We’ve found a few more avenues to goal and the last month we’ve been scoring heavily,” he said.
“Everyone is playing their individual roles and is happy for anyone to kick the goals rather than a couple of key players.”
