The all-abilities Find Your Voice choir has been allocated $10,000 in the latest funding round from the program.
Warrnambool singer-songwriter Tom Richardson and Kylie Thulborn from All Abilities Advocacy put together the successful funding application.
They did so with the support of the Port Fairy Folk Festival.
The funding will allow the all-abilities Find Your Voice choir to come together and practice, with the view to performing on the public stage.
Richardson will drive the project from a musical perspective.
The choir came to life earlier this year with performances at the Rotary International Concert for Peace at Warrnambool’s Lighthouse Theatre and as the opening act at the Port Fairy Folk Festival.
Members of the choir come from disability agencies across the south-west.
