A $30,000 ride-on mower stolen from the Hamilton racecourse during the weekend has been recovered.

Hamilton police Sergeant Rex Habel said the Kubota mower was stolen between Friday night and Sunday night.
A Yulecart resident reported to police a man was driving the mower up his driveway at 10.30pm Sunday, about five kilometres from where the it went missing.
A 41-year-old man was arrested and taken for assessment at the Hamilton Base Hospital.
Sergeant Habel said the man was assisting police with their inquiries but it was not known if he stole the mower.
There was a function at the racecourse during the weekend.
Police inquiries are continuing and anyone with information is requested to contact the Hamilton police station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
The mower has been returned to the racecourse.
