The Bombers, who accounted for youthful Terang Mortlake 55-34 on Saturday, will face Hampden league challenger Koroit in round 13.
“Every team is a challenge. Outsiders will expect which way it should go but from our point-of-view, we take each game as serious as the next,” she said.
“Terang was a much improved outfit, young but tenacious and they definitely put up a fight.”
Cobden had a 19-goal win over Koroit in round four.
But McNamara said the reigning premier would be a different proposistion this time around.
“They have Nell Mitchell back,” she said.
“It’s a different goal shooter focus for them so the game plan will have to change slightly to reduce the ball coming to her.
“We’ll have to have defensive pressure more consistently so the ball doesn’t come in so quickly.”
McNamara said Sophie Blain was a defender playing a role in the Bombers’ impressive season.
She said Blain, who shone at wing defence, was their most consistent against the Bloods as was young goaler Molly Hutt.
“The vibe is really positive around the club and everyone is working hard for everyone,” McNamara said.
Koroit will enter the clash against Cobden on the back of a 58-31 win over South Warrnambool.
Hamilton Kangaroos celebrated a 71-40 trouncing of Portland.
The Kangaroos’ victory came on a special day for the club as it won all football and netball grades for the first time since joining the Hampden league in 2013.
