Flagstaff Hill service manager Paul Pinkerton said the village had reinvented its school holiday activities to offer families a huge variety of fun with its Little Winter program.
“We have introduced themed days for greater engagement and learning opportunities, and we’ve also got the Triton Woodworkers banging away in the village helping families construct their own wooden creations every day of the school holidays,” he said.
“Themed days include Maremma Mondays, Whale Wednesdays and Friday Flix where activities are themed around a film that is watched in the afternoon.
“The new little winter program along with the introduction of the lolly shop and gourmet toastie menu in the tearooms has seen a leap in numbers compared to previous years.”
There is also daily craft and cooking sessions at 11am and 2pm.
Mr Pinkerton said there was a fantastic turnout to the first Friday Flix pirates and mermaids day with reports of kids making new friends and parents thrilled with the included lunch for the whole family.
