Warrnambool police Sergeant Jarrod Chatfield said a 15-year-boy was charged with an attempted burglary at Hamilton's George Street milk bar committed at 1.45pm Sunday.
It took some time for Hamilton police officer to arrest him and he was already on bail charged with previous alleged offending.
A 38-year-old Warrnambool man also spent the weekend in the police cells after threatening to inflict injuries.
He has mental health issues and a long list of prior court appearances.
A 40-year-old Warrnambool man, who was recently the victim in an alleged assault, is also in the cells after being charged with stealing a razor.
He has been a court regular during the past couple of years.
And a 23-year-old Warrnambool man will appear in court for a bail/remand hearing after being charged with assault and twice breaching a court order.
There were already 58 criminal cases listed for mention in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court for Monday.
The addition of four bail/remand hearings is sure to keep magistrate Cynthia Toose busy.
