Coach Jody Roth said she was happy with the way her side performed.
“Everyone does predict you to beat that side, but you don’t take any team easily and we needed to win so I was happy with it,” she said.
“The girls putting together four quarters was most pleasing.
“We tend to play three quarters and then drop off for one.
“Also our ability to hit the 10 goals a quarter was pleasing. And our defenders are working amazing well at the moment.”
Old Collegians proved far too strong for Panmure as it recorded a convincing 38-goal win with Nicole O’Shannesy named best on court.
And at Nirranda, the Blues got the job done on their home court downing Russells Creek 60-33. Playing coach Stephanie Townsend was influential with 33 goals.
