Kolora-Noorat recorded a big win as it thumped the Bombers 21.8 (134) to 3.7 (25), as expected.
Despite the one-sided scoreline, Power coach Danny Finn had plenty of praise for the opposition.
“East was definitely really good up to half-time,” he said.
“I think they have definitely improved and they had a real go.
“So for us to get through the way did was pleasing and we are just happy to get the four points.”
Finn said after some fine tuning at the main break his players finished off the game strongly.
And it wasn’t just the Bombers that he had plenty of praise for, he also gave his own team a big pat on the back.
He acknowledged players can stray away from team football in big wins, but said that wasn’t the case for the Power who showed great discipline.
“We had a lot of inside 50s, but we just were not efficient with those,” he said.
“We addressed that at half-time and we were then able to capitalise.
“We then started hitting the scoreboard which was one of the most pleasing things.
“I was really happy with the boys who were really disciplined.
“We used the ball well and didn't rush which can happen.
“But blokes weren't running forward or not playing the way that we wanted to.”
The win now sees Kolora-Noorat sit one game clear in third spot on the ladder.
