Dare, who missed the Bombers’ 20.10 (130) to 6.9 (45) loss to Port Fairy on Saturday, is unsure the severity of the meniscus tear.
“It’s an uncommon spot to get torn,” he said.
“They won’t know the extent of the damage until they go in."
Matt Sully was one of 11 goal kickers for Port Fairy, slotting four in a best-on-ground display.
Dare said the Seagulls dominated.
“Port Fairy are going well and they outmatched the side we put on the park,” he said.
“At the moment we’re too young, too small and too inexperienced.
“We competed well at stages but they were too good for us."
