South West TAFE was among the local organisations to bring their pooches into the boardroom, raising important funds for the RSPCA.
There were dachshunds in the boardroom, whippets in the courtyard and even a bulldog at the front desk as staff embraced the chance to bring their furry friends to work.
About 50 four-legged friends came to work across all the TAFE’s campuses, and it wasn’t all dogs with a trio of rats also heading out for the day.
After a successful first year in 2017, chief executive Mark Fidge was keen to participate in the event a second time around.
The organisation found pets in the workplace boosted staff interaction and encouraged people who didn’t normally work side by side to get chatting.
And, for the record, there was not a dog fight in sight.
