Seahawks coach Tim Gainey wants to utilse their height as they strive to maintain their spot in the top six.
He believes they can “cause a lot of mismatches” on Saturday night.
“Alex (Gynes) might play wing a little bit and Ollie (Bidmade) might play point guard,” he said.
“We might be a big team but teams will have to adjust to us and not visa versa.
“Our team is all capable of shooting and are really good defensively as well, so I think trying something different will help us see if we can create a tempo that way.”
Gainey is pleased with mid-season recruit Jordan Lingard’s contribution.
The Colac-based six-foot-seven talent joined the club with four years of American college experience behind him.
“He knows most of the guys so he fits in perfectly,” he said.
The Seahawks fell eight points short of the Gators at the Arc earlier this season.
Gainey believes Shepparton, which boasts a 13-2 win-loss record, is beatable.
“We need to limit our mistakes,” he said.
“Most of the games we’ve lost have been through mental mistakes, losing track of the scout report or making bad plays at the wrong time.”
“We need to play a 40-minute game which we haven’t done all season.”
