To make up for having no match last weekend Dennington played a mid-week practice match against Hampden league club Warrnambool.
“We have had the bye so we had to do much more preparation than normal for this game,” she said.
“We used the practice match against Warrnambool to get our heads back in game. So it was good to have a good hit out.
“This game gave us a wake up call that we are going to have tough game.
“And we are not taking this game lightly, we are expecting a tough game.”
The Timboon Demons are also expecting a tough contest and coach Kelly Growland said her players are ready for it.
“We are really excited for this game,” she said.
“I really think we can match it with Dennington and after the game with Nirranda I feel we need to prove we can match it with the top sides.”
