The undefeated powerhouse will strive for its first Deakin University Female Football League premiership on Sunday.
Kangaroos co-coach Stuart Casey believes his charges, who notched 10 wins in the home-and-away season, are ready to face South Warrnambool at Pedrina Park.
“Win, lose or draw it will be a good outcome (for female sport),” he said.
“It would be nice to walk away with a bit of silverware.
“Finals are different to a normal game throughout the year.
“We have to be at our best as South Warrnambool would’ve done their homework on us.”
Kate Tomkins, a 15-year-old with an abundance of talent, is one of Casey’s standout performers.
“We can play her anywhere. She’s not really tall but she can tackle, mark and kick,” he said.
“The Casterton coach taught her to kick properly years ago.”
Captain Maddison Kaine, Ella Firth, Ella Fitzgerald, Madeline Casey, Shelby Nolte, Denver Henson and sisters Sophie and Laura Robinson will also play key roles.
